Insomnia February 3, 2010 06:08

"Insomnia, from the Latin "in" (not) and "somnus" (sleep), is a condition characterized by difficulty falling asleep and remaining asleep. Significant factors that can cause it are: life stress (job loss or change, death of a loved one, divorce, moving, Illness) emotional or physical discomfort, environmental factors like noise, light, or extreme temperatures (hot or cold) that interfere with sleep."
Since I moved back to Leeds I don't think I have been to bed before 3am unless I have been out on the rangoose.
Even as a little girl I didn't really have a routine for bed.
The last few weeks I have been awake until daylight breaks which despite doing nothing most days has completely drained me.
As I no longer have a job at the drop of a hat, I don't have a routine.
Its more so the sheer boredom of having nothing to do all day that grates on me.
Its a nasty cycle. the only time I do manage to sleep earlyish is when Im drunk and at the rate I have spent my money going out this wont be happening often.
